We do not collect, store, or share your personal information. This site exists to serve you, not to track you.
Effective date: March 28, 2026
Sacred Trek is a static website. It has no user accounts, no login, no registration forms, no cookies, no analytics trackers, and no advertising. When you visit this site, we learn nothing about you. That is intentional and will not change.
Nothing. Sacred Trek does not ask for your name, email address, location, or any other personal information. There are no registration forms, no comment sections, no newsletter sign-ups, and no accounts of any kind on this site.
When you use the site's features — the liturgical calendar, the prayer texts, the examination of conscience, the fasting calculator — all processing happens entirely within your own browser. No data is sent to any server operated by Sacred Trek.
Sacred Trek sets no cookies of any kind — not session cookies, not preference cookies, not tracking cookies. We use no analytics software (including Google Analytics), no advertising pixels, no social media tracking scripts, and no fingerprinting technology.
Your browser may cache resources from this site locally (fonts, scripts, stylesheets) to improve loading speed on repeat visits. This is standard browser behaviour and is entirely under your control through your browser settings. It does not transmit any information to us.
Sacred Trek uses two external services whose resources are loaded when you visit the site:
The site's typefaces (Cinzel, EB Garamond, and Lato) are loaded from Google's font servers. When your browser loads this site, it contacts Google's servers to retrieve these font files. Google may log this request according to its own privacy policy. If you prefer not to contact Google's servers, you may use a browser extension that blocks font requests, or you may download the fonts directly and host them locally.
Google Privacy Policy ↗The liturgical calendar on the homepage makes a single request to this free, public Catholic calendar API to retrieve the day's feast name and liturgical colour. The only information sent is today's date. No personal data of any kind is included in this request. If the API is unavailable, the calendar falls back gracefully to computed data entirely within your browser.
calapi.inadiutorium.cz ↗Beyond these two services, the site contains links to external resources including Vatican.va, the USCCB, MassTimes.org, Universalis.com, Divinum Officium, and others. These links open in new tabs; clicking them takes you to those sites, which have their own privacy policies. Sacred Trek has no control over and no relationship with these sites beyond linking to their publicly available content.
Sacred Trek carries no advertising of any kind. No advertiser has paid to appear on this site or to have their products or services mentioned. There are no affiliate links, no sponsored content, and no commercial relationships that affect what this site says or recommends.
Sacred Trek is intended for use by people of all ages, including children and young people preparing for the sacraments. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we have no particular concerns regarding children's privacy — there is nothing to collect, store, or protect. Parents can be confident that their children's use of this site generates no data profile of any kind.
Sacred Trek may add features in the future — a contact form, for example — that involve the collection of some personal information. If and when that happens, this policy will be updated clearly and specifically before any such feature goes live, and any data collection will be explained in plain language with no surprises.
The effective date at the top of this page will be updated whenever material changes are made.

This privacy policy reflects a simple conviction: a Catholic ministry website ought to treat the people who visit it with the same respect and dignity it proclaims in its content. We have no interest in your data. We have a great interest in your spiritual wellbeing.
